PRODUCTS DETAILS

WEGO PVDF sutures are monofilament, synthetic, non-absorbable sterile surgical sutures composed of polyvinylidene fluoride. WEGO PVDF suture is dyed in Solvent Blue 104 or Phthalocyanine Blue. WEGO PVDF sutures comply with the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia for Sterile Non-Absorbable Strands and the requirements of the United States Pharmacopoeia for Non-Absorbable Surgical Sutures.

Indication

WEGO PVDF suture in indicated for use in all types of soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including cardiovascular and neurological surgeries, as well as microsurgery and ophthalmic procedures. Polyvinylidene fluoride threads can also be used as holding sutures and for marking purposes
